Job summary

Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, Kentucky is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging and support radiologists in accurate interpretations.

You will create high-quality cross-sectional images, ensure patient comfort, follow safety protocols, and participate in continuous quality improvement while delivering compassionate care. The role also offers a sign-on bonus and student loan assistance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) within 14 days of hire.
• KY licensure required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality cross-sectional images.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Adhere to Radiologist protocols and imaging quality standards.
• Follow patient positioning techniques to optimize images.
• Assist with quality assurance and documentation.
• Participate in safety and compliance initiatives.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

This position is eligible for up to a $25,000 sign-on bonus AND up to$24,000 Student Loan Assistance

As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.

Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.

To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
• Performs procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.
• Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
• Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
• Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Maintains professional development and education for technical competency.
