Responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining equipment: daily cleaning, troubleshooting, notifying service engineers, stocking supplies
2. Setting up and adjusting equipment: calibration, control settings, dose limits
3. Patient handling: acceptance, assessment, explanation of procedures
4. Contrast administration: IV access, proper marking of supplies
5. Reviewing charts and coordinating with radiologists
6. Quality control and safety: image quality, inventory, safety regulations
7. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
8. Embracing technology
9. Fostering a safety culture: patient verification, hand hygiene, PPE use, hazardous waste disposal, electrical safety

Minimum Requirements:

• Formal Radiology Technology training from an AMA-approved program
• 3-4 years radiologic experience; 1 year CT training or exposure
• Licenses: ARRT in CT, Massachusetts Radiation Control Program
• Certification: BLS (AHA) within 180 days of hire

Overnight shifts: 9 pm to 7 am

Additional Certifications (if required): ACLS, BLS, ARRT in CT, Massachusetts CT license, instructor certifications
