Overview
Under general supervision, performs routine and specialized CT imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Execute clinical competence in CT: Perform procedures across all locations and patient types. Select appropriate technical factors, provide age-appropriate care, observe dose reduction protocols, and administer contrast as per policy. Participate in the Clinical Ladder Program if available, meeting all standards.
Apply knowledge of CT principles: Use understanding of anatomy, physiology, radiation safety, physics, and patient care to perform duties. Comply with all regulatory standards.
Document patient care activities: Accurately record procedures and care in electronic health records systems.
Ensure safety and maintain supplies: Maintain a safe work environment, manage supplies and equipment, report issues, and follow quality control procedures.
Participate in quality improvement: Engage in departmental initiatives, training, and education to enhance workflows, patient experience, and quality of care.
