Job summary

UR Medicine Thompson Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT examinations independently and coordinate services within the health system. The role emphasizes patient-centered care across all ages and strict confidentiality in line with safety guidelines.

Qualifications include an AAS in Radiology or AMA-approved program, NYS license, BLS, and ARRT (CT) preferred. Experience in CT is valued; base pay reflects experience and location in New York.

Qualifications

• AAS degree in Radiology Technology or AMA-approved radiographic technology program is required.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Current NYS license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ARRT (CT) certification is preferred.
• NYS Radiological Technologist IV certification within 6 months.
• 1 year CT experience is preferred, but exceptional new grads may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality Computed Tomography examinations independently.
• Coordinate CT services effectively within and outside the Health System.
• Provide age-appropriate care across the lifespan with knowledge of growth and development principles.
• Ensure strict confidentiality of patient and staff information.
• Adhere to NYSDOH and JCAHO radiation guidelines and hospital safety practices.
• Support hospital goals and embody CARES values.

Schedule: 7:30am-8:00pm, Fri, Sat, Sun

Pay Range: $36.00-$46.00, based on experience

Qualifications:

• AAS degree in Radiology Technology or completion of a 2-year AMA-approved school of radiographic technology required.
• American Registry Radiological Technologist (ARRT) certification required.
• Current, valid NYS License required.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• New York State Radiological Technologist IV certificationwithin 6 months.
• 1 year of experience in CT within a healthcare facility is preferred, but we will consider exceptional new graduate Rad Tech candidates.

Pay Range: $36.00-$46.00
