A community health system in New York is seeking a qualified Radiology Technologist to perform Computed Tomography examinations. The ideal candidate will have an AAS degree in Radiology Technology and ARRT certification. Qualifications

  • AAS degree in Radiology Technology or completion of an AMA-approved school of radiographic technology required.
  • American Registry Radiological Technologist (ARRT) certification required.
  • Current, valid New York State License required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
  • NYS Radiological Technologist IV certification within 6 months.
  • 1 year of experience in CT preferred; exceptional new graduate Rad Tech candidates considered.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality Computed Tomography examinations independently.
  • Coordinate CT services effectively within and outside the Health System.
  • Provide age-appropriate care for patients.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive patient and staff information.
  • Adhere to radiation guidelines and hospital safety practices.

Pay Range: $35.00-$45.00, based on experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high‑quality Computed Tomography examinations independently.

  • Adhere to all NYSDOH and JCAHO radiation guidelines and hospital safety practices.

Qualifications
  • AAS degree in Radiology Technology or completion of a 2‑year AMA‑approved school of radiographic technology required.
  • American Registry Radiological Technologist (ARRT) certification required.
  • Current, valid NYS License required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
  • New York State Radiological Technologist IV certification within 6 months.
  • 1 year of experience in CT within a healthcare facility preferred; exceptional new graduate Rad Tech candidates will be considered.
