Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT CT certification by date of hire or transfer into position.
• Indiana Radiologic Technologist license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Produce images using CT scanner and assist Radiologist in viewing and reconstructing images.
• Assess patient needs and determine appropriate interventions, ensuring emotional and physical comfort and safety.
• Administer contrast material accurately for CT studies.
• Position patients to obtain clear, accurate images.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition for timely intervention.
• Archive daily examination data in electronic systems and maintain records; contribute to QA/CQI.
• Follow infection control requirements and assist in cleaning and disinfecting rooms.
• Supervise students as required.
• Exercise judgement to ensure compliance with state, federal, and local requirements.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain current knowledge and skills.
