Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA, seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a compassionate patient experience. You will perform CT exams, adhere to ALARA principles, and collaborate within Radiology to support patient safety and workflow.

The ideal candidate has ARRT-R and ARRT-CT credentials, BLS, and at least 1 year in radiology, with a commitment to infection control and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently while maintaining ALARA and dose optimization.
• Clean, disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders, obtain clinical history, and ensure patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety throughout visits.
• Administer contrast and perform venipuncture using sterile technique when applicable.
• Position patients correctly and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as needed.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
