Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a part-time CT Technologist to join our team in Boca Raton, FL. The role involves operating CT scanners to produce diagnostic images with a patient-centered approach and excellent service. The shifts are Saturdays and Sundays, 8:00am–8:00pm, 24 hours per week.

Qualifications include ARRT registration, AMA-approved radiography schooling, CPR certification, and state licensure where applicable. Bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bilingual preferred (if applicable) but not required.
• Must have ARRT registered technologist and CPR certification.
• Licensed radiology technologist in the appropriate state.
• AMA approved radiography program completed.
• CT procedures competency independently.

Responsibilities

• Screens patient before exam using two identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
• Explains and prepares patients for scanning and positions them for accurate imaging.
• Performs routine and advanced CT procedures with minimal supervision for diagnostic use.
• Adjusts scanning parameters and uses dose reduction techniques as needed.
• Maintains RIS records, follows safety regulations, and adheres to accreditation standards.
• Assists with imaging protocol updates, software upgrades, and supply management.
• Participates in training of new team members and performs other tasks as assigned.
