Overview

Christian was nationally ranked as “high performing” in geriatrics and in seven of 21 common procedures and conditions: heart attack, heart failure, kidney failure, diabetes, COPD, pneumonia, and stroke. High performing indicates top 10% nationally in these areas.

Northwest HealthCare, located six miles west of Christian, offers 24-hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center, and outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.

The Cat Scan at NWHC features a Siemens Somatom Sensation 16 slice scanner, enabling faster scans and reduced radiation exposure. Same-day service is available for CT procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures using at least one advanced modality (e.g., CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adult and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment, including quality control.

Responsibilities

1. Prepares patients and equipment for procedures.
2. Performs studies independently, during on-call, portable exams, and at other sites as required.

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalent

• IEMA - Illinois only, excluding MRI
• RT(R), CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES
