Job summary

Affinity Home Health Care Inc. is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging within a healthcare facility, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You will perform CT procedures, prepare patients using AIDET, and ensure diagnostic image quality. Responsibilities include documenting in RIS/PACS, monitoring patients, responding to emergencies, and maintaining equipment and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least one year of radiology experience; ARRT-R, ARRT-CT and BLS certifications preferred.

The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering high-quality, safe imaging services at a healthcare facility, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

They perform CT procedures following department protocols, operate imaging equipment independently, and ensure diagnostic image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.

Key duties include preparing patients, explaining procedures using AIDET, ensuring patient comfort and safety, administering contrast agents, positioning patients accurately, and reviewing images for diagnostic acceptability.

They must complete accurate documentation in RIS/PACS, monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and maintain equipment and work areas in compliance with infection control standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least one year of radiology experience, and certifications such as ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS.
