Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging (CT and X-ray) at the Waterford Lakes FSED. The role requires adherence to radiation safety, patient positioning, and image quality standards.

Schedule is Fri-Sun nights, 7 PM–7:30 AM, with an upgraded weekend shift differential. Responsibilities include assisting in training new technologists, maintaining documentation, and ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• Florida Radiologic Technologist licensure; ARRT or NMTCB CT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits professional judgment in performance of radiologic procedures.
• Delivers high-quality imaging to assist accurate interpretation.
• Ensures adherence to radiation safety principles and regulatory requirements.
• Operates CT and X-ray imaging equipment with attention to patient comfort and safety.
• Maintains accurate patient information and image documentation.
• Assists in supervision and mentoring of students and junior technologists.
