Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our team in Lafayette, CO. The role focuses on producing high-quality CT images, maintaining safety standards, and supporting patient care throughout imaging procedures.

Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, ensuring patient readiness, and collaborating with care teams. Current ARRT (R) CT certification and BLS are required, with prior hospital CT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required at hire or soon after.
• CT technologist certification preferred; cross-sectional anatomy knowledge valued.
• BLS certification within 60 days required.
• State licensure required at hire.
• IV competency within 90 days.
• Colorado facility may require fluoroscopy certification.
• 1–2 years CT hospital experience preferred.
• Must maintain ARRT competency and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and information systems to produce quality images.
• Verify patient identity and prepare for exams.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality and accuracy.
• Ensure radiation safety and a safe working environment.
• Complete studies within departmental time expectations without compromising care.
• Educate patients and address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with care teams.
• Stay updated with CT tech advancements and participate in continuing education.
• Instruct students and other radiology staff on exam protocols.
