Job summary

Medical City Arlington is hiring a CT Technologist for part-time day shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M.

The role involves performing routine and specialized CT imaging, positioning patients, starting IVs for contrast, ensuring image quality, and adhering to radiation safety protocols. The position requires BLS, ARRT-CT within 6 months, ARRT-R within 6 months, and RT Radiologic Technologist credentials, with no travel.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• ARRT-CT certification within 6 months.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification within 6 months.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential is required.

Responsibilities

• You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release customers with proper post procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
