Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT scanners and X-ray equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient safety. The role requires ARRT-CT certification, state license, and BCLS, with weekend/board coverage as described in the posting.

The position is full-time, based at Dallas Regional Medical Center – Mesquite, TX, with 12-hour shifts and a Saturday–Monday schedule.

Qualifications

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
• Radiology/CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• ARRT-CT Certification required.
• Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and ensure they are properly positioned on the CT table and explain the procedure with empathy.
• Operate CT scanners and/or X-ray machines to obtain high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Monitor patients throughout the procedure to ensure comfort and safety.
• Assist radiologists in interpreting images and administer contrast agents when needed.
• Maintain quality assurance of CT/X-ray equipment and ensure it functions properly.
