Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of three months of CT experience or current enrollment in CT practicum.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.
• Completion of a computed tomography (CT) educational program or comparable work experience in CT.
• Proficient with computers/computer systems including basic navigation and email usage.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to deal with difficult or challenging customer interactions and elevate to management as appropriate.
• Current ARRT certification or ability to obtain ARRT certification within one year of hire/transfer date.
• State of Nebraska Medical Radiographer License Required.
• BLS certification from an American Heart Association endorsed program.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality CT procedures under the supervision of a radiologist to ensure accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment.
• Participate in teaching and research relating to CT in support of the department’s mission.
• Demonstrate active involvement in the CT department.
