Job summary

Rhode Island Medical Imaging is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT scans, ensure QC, and maintain patient safety with radiation protection. The role requires ARRT CT certification, RI licensure, and the ability to travel between locations as needed.

The technologist will assist radiologists, coordinate patient flow, and maintain equipment and records. Flexibility for floating to other sites is essential, with day shift variability and a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 2 years of Radiologic Technology training.
• ARRT registered and certified in CT.
• Licensed technologist through Rhode Island.
• National & State IV Certification required.
• Maintain CME reports annually.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT technologist duties as scheduled and as assigned.
• Conduct quality control and ensure equipment operates safely.
• Protect patients from radiation exposure per safety standards.
• Coordinate with reception to maintain efficient patient flow.
• Explain procedures and obtain necessary medical history from patients.
• Assist radiologists as required and communicate findings.
• Ensure proper documentation and patient identification on records.
• Order supplies and support other areas during lulls in duties.
• Cross-train in other imaging modalities when needed.
