Job summary

Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited seeks a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment in our Warwick, Rhode Island imaging unit. You will position patients, administer radiocontrast agents, verify imaging quality, and communicate closely with physicians to ensure accurate diagnostic results.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years of CT experience, a strong commitment to patient safety, and the ability to work 40 hours per week on a 13-week assignment with occasional weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
• Position patients appropriately for scans of specific areas of the body.
• Perform regular CT scanner warm-up sequences to help prolong the life of X-ray tubes.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment to support patient safety.
• Interpret physicians' written scanning instructions accurately.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
• Evaluate CT scans to ensure technical quality.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support.
