Job Description

CT Technologists are responsible for:

• Explaining radiographic procedures to patients and collecting accurate patient history.
• Performing clinical diagnostic examinations, including room preparation.
• Entering patient and exam data into the Radiology Information System correctly.

Qualifications

Under the supervision of a Radiologist, the CT Technologist operates CT equipment to produce diagnostic images. Qualifications include:

• 1-3 months of experience and/or training
• Formal training in an approved program
• ARRT certification
