Major Responsibilities
Customer Satisfaction
- Advocate for patients and customers.
- Schedule inpatients and outpatients efficiently.
- Educate patients throughout the exam process.
- Build and maintain positive relationships.
- Utilize resources to resolve issues and improve satisfaction.
- Address complaints promptly.
- Complete performance and evaluation tasks timely.
- Participate in satisfaction surveys and propose improvements.
Quality
- Produce quality CT scans.
- Operate CT equipment appropriately.
- Follow safety protocols for electrical, environmental, and radiation safety.
- Ensure all information is complete before exams.
- Accurately complete data entries in HIS and RIS.
- Monitor and improve departmental CQI indicators.
- Seek training to meet learning needs.
Innovation and Organizational Climate
- Submit ideas for departmental improvements.
- Participate in hospital activities and departmental meetings.
- Engage in recognition and social activities.
Productivity and Economics
- Contribute to departmental productivity improvements.
- Manage supplies and participate in cost containment or revenue generation.
- Suggest ideas to reduce expenses or increase revenue.
Qualifications
- ARRT eligible and some scanning experience.
- Ability to perform most CT procedures and ARRT registered.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Exposure to life-threatening diseases possible.
- Ability to work flexible hours, stand long periods, view small screens, lift up to 35 pounds, and respond to emergencies.
- Work under stressful conditions and rotate shifts as needed.
