Responsibilities include:

  1. Serving as a patient advocate to ensure needs are met efficiently.
  2. Scheduling inpatients and outpatients promptly.
  3. Providing patient education before, during, and after exams.
  4. Maintaining positive relationships with patients, departments, physicians, and staff.
  5. Reviewing patient satisfaction data and participating in improvements.
  6. Resolving patient irritants and complaints effectively.
  7. Completing performance pathways on time and submitting self-evaluations.
  8. Participating in satisfaction surveys and suggesting improvements.
Major Responsibilities
Customer Satisfaction
  1. Advocate for patients and customers.
  2. Schedule inpatients and outpatients efficiently.
  3. Educate patients throughout the exam process.
  4. Build and maintain positive relationships.
  5. Utilize resources to resolve issues and improve satisfaction.
  6. Address complaints promptly.
  7. Complete performance and evaluation tasks timely.
  8. Participate in satisfaction surveys and propose improvements.
Quality
  1. Produce quality CT scans.
  2. Operate CT equipment appropriately.
  3. Follow safety protocols for electrical, environmental, and radiation safety.
  4. Ensure all information is complete before exams.
  5. Accurately complete data entries in HIS and RIS.
  6. Monitor and improve departmental CQI indicators.
  7. Seek training to meet learning needs.
Innovation and Organizational Climate
  1. Submit ideas for departmental improvements.
  2. Participate in hospital activities and departmental meetings.
  3. Engage in recognition and social activities.
Productivity and Economics
  1. Contribute to departmental productivity improvements.
  2. Manage supplies and participate in cost containment or revenue generation.
  3. Suggest ideas to reduce expenses or increase revenue.
Qualifications
  • ARRT eligible and some scanning experience.
  • Ability to perform most CT procedures and ARRT registered.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Exposure to life-threatening diseases possible.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, stand long periods, view small screens, lift up to 35 pounds, and respond to emergencies.
  • Work under stressful conditions and rotate shifts as needed.
