Job summary

Wellstar Medical Group, LLC seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging for patients at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA. The role emphasizes safe, compassionate care and adherence to department protocols.

The ideal candidate will perform CT exams, maintain ALARA standards, and participate in a collaborative care team while supporting ongoing education and patient experience improvements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT, and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and use technical knowledge to capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment independently, maintaining diagnostic quality at ALARA levels.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules and report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders with two patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care using AIDET; address patient questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Position patients correctly, apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and repeat as needed with proper documentation.
