A leading healthcare organization in Westerly seeks a CT Technologist responsible for operating CT scanners and ensuring patient safety. Applicants should have formal training in radiology technology, relevant experience, and appropriate certifications. This role involves direct technical duties, patient interaction, and collaboration with radiologists.

Participates in technical duties directly involved with the CT scanner, including developing, initiating, and monitoring procedures for the effective utilization of this unit. Under the supervision of the radiologist, administer IV contrast according to departmental guidelines for specific procedures.

Education: Requires formal training in radiology technology through an AMA-approved program.
Experience: Minimum of three to four years of radiologic experience; special procedures experience preferred. One year of exposure or training in CT to achieve proficiency.
Licensure: Registration by the A.R.R.T. as an RT (R)(CT) preferred and state licensed. If not RT(CT) certified, registration in CT must be obtained within twelve months of hire. CPR certification (BLS) required.
