Job summary

MedStar Health in Washington, DC is seeking a CT Technologist to perform complex CT imaging, prepare patients and assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures. The role includes labeling images, charging procedures, maintaining records, and participating in safety training across multiple scanners.

Qualified candidates hold ARRT certification, a CT technologist credential, CPR within 90 days, and a Maryland license (Clinton location preferred). A $25,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Maryland State License required (Clinton Location only).
• ARRT certification is required.
• Certified CT Technologist credential required.
• CPR certification within 90 days required.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and IV placement/contrast as applicable.
• Assist in interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label correctly; transmit to PACS.
• Charge procedures and supplies accurately.
• Load and operate CT contrast injectors; manage patient records.
• Maintain safety and quality controls; assist in training staff.
• Manage scheduling and patient flow across multiple CT scanners.
• Support research and development with CT equipment manufacturers.
