Responsibilities

• Produces high quality radiographic images through appropriate positioning and technical factors.
• Operates CT scanner, power injector and post processing equipment.
• Adjusts protocols to meet patient needs and ensures high diagnostic quality.
• Performs general radiography exams as needed.
• Maintains a low repeat rate and follows imaging standards.
• Communicates delays to patients and explains procedures clearly.
• Supports and participates in research and keeps up with new imaging procedures.
• Selects equipment according to protocol and ensures proper setup.
• Evaluates image quality and records data accurately.
• Assists radiologist during invasive procedures when needed.
• Educates patients and follows age-specific guidelines.
