Position Highlights

Qualifications - External
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology (required) or Associate Degree (preferred)
  • 1 year radiologic technologist experience without ARRT-CT (required) or no experience with ARRT-CT (required)
  • ARRT Certification (required), including ARRT - Radiologic Technologist (R) and CT
  • Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (required)
  • BCLS certification (required)
Responsibilities

The CT Technologist is responsible for explaining procedures, imaging the correct anatomical area, performing complex procedures considering age and developmental factors, processing and manipulating images, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment. Additional responsibilities include preparing examination rooms, administering contrast media, and ensuring equipment and room sanitation.
