Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Imaging Services is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures across age groups, ensuring image quality and patient safety under indirect supervision.

The role requires professional judgment, accurate documentation, and adherence to department policies. You will collaborate with radiology staff to optimize imaging protocols while maintaining patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Upholds Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures and applicable laws.
• Provides patient services using CT imaging modalities.
• Performs CT procedures on patients of all ages and evaluates image quality.
• Maintains professional behavior and effective communication with patients and staff.
• Explains procedures, verifies history, and confirms exam appropriateness.
• Positions patients and administers contrast as needed under radiologist guidance.
• Observes radiation safety standards to minimize dose.
• Assesses patient condition and initiates life support if required.
• Documents clinical activities promptly and accurately.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and work area per department guidelines.
