Qualifications

Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington D.C. is hiring for a CT Technologist.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• Evening Shift 3pm - 11:30pm
• 5 - 8 hour shifts

Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Consistently select and perform appropriate CT protocols based on the patient’s clinical presentation according to established guidelines.
• Select, review, and adjust technical factors to produce optimal CT images considering patient’s age and physical condition.
• Properly position patients on the CT table and remove artifacts that may interfere with image quality.
• Complete the full exam, including paperwork, post-processing, and archiving.
• Verify accurate patient identifiers, procedures, and relevant information.
• Demonstrate knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy.
• Operate CT scanners and accessories proficiently.
• Maintain and clean all CT equipment according to guidelines.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• ARRT certification with current registration.
• BLS CPR certification.
• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
