Job summary

East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT equipment, position patients, and ensure image quality and patient safety. You will collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to deliver timely diagnostic results, while documenting procedures and maintaining equipment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of clinical radiologic program experience, basic life support, and a commitment to patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic sciences program.
• 1–2 years clinical CT experience required.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment and processing systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepares and positions patients for CT procedures.
• Verifies patient identity and orders, screens for contraindications.
• Performs contrast administration and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Explains procedures to patients and provides post-exam instructions.
• Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure timely care.
• Assists with interventional CT procedures and sterile setup.
• Reviews images for technical accuracy and communicates findings.
