Job Description

Sign on Bonus Eligible $10,000 (2-year commitment)

General Overview

This role involves supervising staff and managing area functions, potentially serving as a physician liaison. The technologist performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable standards, policies, and the organization's mission.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform all essential duties of a CT Technologist, including age-specific diagnostic imaging, effective communication with patients and staff, and responding to adverse events. (50%)
  2. Mentor and resource for staff and students, orienting and training new personnel, and participating in quality assurance and accreditation activities. (20%)
  3. Perform and train others in quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory testing. (10%)
  4. Engage in standardization and process improvement initiatives with system-level workgroups. (5%)
  5. Demonstrate proficiency in specialty exams, analyze data, and update CT protocols as needed. (10%)
  6. Cover chief tech duties as assigned. (5%)
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum
  • Associate’s Degree, certification from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent experience.
  • ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) certification.
  • At least 2 years of CT Technologist experience.
  • CPR certification (American Heart Association).
  • Clearances: Act 34, Act 33, Act 73 FBI fingerprinting.
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree.
