Job summary

Workforce Recruiter is seeking a CT Technologist for a rural hospital in Miles City, Montana. The role involves performing CT exams, preparing contrast, and ensuring patient safety while supporting radiology staff.

Two positions are available: one day shift (7am–6pm) and one evenings/nights (7pm–5am) with on-call weekends. Relocation and sign-on are offered along with full benefits. The facility is a 25-bed critical access hospital with growth opportunities in mammography.

Qualifications

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
• Certified to perform Mammography or willing to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year of previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce cross sectional CT images to aid radiologists in diagnosing diseases.
• Administer/assist with contrast media and procedures as needed.
• Identify patients, verify orders, explain procedures, and position patients.
• Operate CT equipment with proper radiation protection and safety protocols.
• Inform leadership of any unusual concerns regarding staff, patients, or physicians.
• Stock and clean rooms, manage inventory of supplies, and communicate needs for acquisitions.
• Handle clerical tasks and image management, including PACS storage and review.
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance studies.
• Assist supervising radiologist with administrative functions.
• Enforce radiation safety principles.
