Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency seeks a CT Technologist I to perform advanced imaging procedures under supervision and ensure high-quality diagnostic CT images while upholding patient safety.

You will operate CT scanners, monitor dose data, and tailor protocols to clinical histories, including CTA studies and cardiac imaging, within a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Radiologic Technology training program (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Proficiency in operating CT systems and understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to produce high-quality images for diagnosis.
• Maintain knowledge of various CT systems across locations and stay updated on guidelines.
• Follow Image Gently Guidelines and monitor dose data, alerting when preset levels are exceeded.
• Obtain and interpret clinical histories to select protocols, ensuring patient positioning and proper factors.
• Perform CT interventional procedures and advanced CTA imaging including TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac imaging.
• Ensure patient preparation, safety, and optimal imaging quality.

Role Overview: The CT Technologist I performs advanced imaging procedures under supervision to acquire diagnostic CT images, ensuring patient safety and protocol adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to produce high-quality images for diagnosis.
• Maintain knowledge of various CT systems across multiple locations and stay updated on current guidelines.
• Follow protocols based on Image Gently Guidelines and monitor dose data, alerting when preset levels are exceeded.
• Obtain and interpret clinical histories to select appropriate protocols, ensuring proper patient positioning, immobilization, shielding, and technical factors.
• Perform CT interventional procedures and advanced CTA imaging, including specialized studies like TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac imaging.
• Ensure patient preparation, safety, and optimal imaging quality by applying knowledge of physiology, physics, and pharmacology.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from a Radiologic Technology training program (required); Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
• Proficiency in operating various CT systems and understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiation safety.
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret technical factors to optimize scan quality.
