ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
2. Obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns.
3. Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by departmental procedures.
4. Performs CT procedures applying ionizing radiation to detect pathology, at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
5. Regulates equipment used to expose x-ray film, develops, and documents PACS imaging.
6. Operates equipment safely, maintaining SimonMed standards while performing all types of procedures.
7. Establishes and maintains professional relationships with colleagues, other departments, and facility staff.
8. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
9. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
10. Works under general supervision.
11. Duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Registration as a Certified Radiologic and CT Tech by the State.
2. Registration as an RT and CT Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
3. Valid hands-on CPR certification required by SimonMed Imaging.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position may require lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods, with frequent standing and walking.

DRESS ATTIRE:

Business casual or scrubs, depending on the department.
