• State registration as a Certified Radiologic and CT Technologist required.
• Must hold A.R.R.T. certification as RT and CT Technologist.
• Hands-on CPR certification needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs CT procedures independently, demonstrating technical proficiency.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures, and addresses concerns.
• Produces CT radiographs of specific areas according to departmental protocols.
• Performs procedures involving ionizing radiation to detect pathology.
• Regulates equipment, develops, and documents PACS imaging.
• Operates equipment safely, maintaining SimonMed standards during procedures.
• Establishes professional relationships with staff and patients.
• Follows standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Uses experience and judgment to accomplish goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registration as a Certified Radiologic and CT Technologist by the State.
• Registration as an RT and CT Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
• Valid hands-on CPR certification.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May include lifting up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, standing, and walking.

DRESS ATTIRE: Business casual or scrubs, depending on department.
