ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Performs CT procedures independently, with minimal supervision.
2. Obtains patient history, explains procedures, and addresses concerns.
3. Produces CT scans according to departmental protocols.
4. Performs procedures involving ionizing radiation to detect pathology.
5. Regulates equipment to expose x-ray film, develops and documents PACS images.
6. Operates equipment safely, maintaining SimonMed standards during all procedures.
7. Establishes and maintains professional relationships with staff and patients.
8. Follows standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
9. Uses experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks.
10. Works under general supervision.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered as a Certified Radiologic and CT Tech by the State.
• Registered as an RT and CT Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
• Valid hands-on CPR certification required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lifting up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods, with frequent standing and walking.

DRESS ATTIRE: Business casual or scrubs, depending on department.
