Job Details

Location: Camp Creek Imaging Center, 3980 Redwine Rd. SW, Suite 104, Atlanta, GA 30331

Work Hours: Every Saturday for PRN, with flexibility to cover weekday shifts when needed.

Job Summary

Must be flexible with work hours, dependable, accountable, and cooperative. Responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures to provide safe, age-appropriate care and quality diagnostic images. Capable of independent judgment and operation of imaging equipment, setting up procedures, and positioning patients.

Core Responsibilities
  • Adjust techniques to minimize radiation dose while maintaining image quality.
  • Report equipment issues promptly.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and infection control.
  • Verify procedure orders and patient identity.
  • Obtain clinical history and assess contraindications.
  • Administer contrast media safely.
  • Review images for quality and accuracy.
  • Respond to emergencies and maintain life support equipment.
  • Assist other modalities as needed.
  • Ensure patient privacy, comfort, and dignity.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
  • Document procedures accurately and timely.
Qualifications
  • Radiologic Technology certification (e.g., ARRT Radiography, ARRT CT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of radiology experience; less than 1 year in CT preferred.
Skills

Excellent communication, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and teamwork skills. Proficiency in CT procedures, patient positioning, and radiation safety required.
