Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT imaging. The role requires CT certification, Texas MRT license, and BLS, with PRN evenings/night shifts at our Grand Prairie Free-Standing ED.

You will help position patients, establish IV access for contrast if needed, and ensure high-quality images for physician diagnoses. Join a large, integrated healthcare system and contribute to a team dedicated to compassionate patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Texas MRT license in good standing.
• ARRT CT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and prepare CT table for imaging.
• Assist with IV access for contrast as needed.
• Assess image quality and adjust parameters for diagnostic quality.
• Provide post-procedure instructions and discharge information.
• Prepare room between patients using aseptic technique and sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of the ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Technologist provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. What You Will Do In This Role

• You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release customers with proper post procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Current License as an (MRT) by the State of Texas required.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (CT) required.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Must be graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
