Job summary

The candidate must be an ARRT Registered Radiographer, State Licensed Radiologic Technologist, and hold BCLS with certification within 30 days of starting. Rotating shifts include on-call duties with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Registered Radiographer (ARRT R) required; CT preferred.
• State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Vocational School Graduate.
• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation, ensuring ALARA standards.
• Operate CT equipment safely and maintain ALARA guidelines during all procedures.
• Be current in radiologic positioning and perform X-rays in ER/department when asked.
• Assist in establishing scan protocols, execute specific applications, and administer contrast as needed.
• Maintain rapport with staff and patients; be available for on-call shifts.

Skills
