Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography and diagnostic scans of designated anatomical areas following established practices and procedures.
• Obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, and address patient concerns.
• Maintain patient records and files.
• Perform general CT procedures and assist with CT-guided IVR procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care.
• Ensure quality patient care in accordance with radiologist expectations and protocols.
• Comply with the National Patient Safety Goals and support reporting of compliance matters.
• Participate in quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Maintain professional development and technical competency.
• Use standard precautions and PPE at all times.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and licensure.
• Attend required educational programs and learning modules.
• Contribute to departmental efficiency and resource utilization.
• Maintain complete working knowledge of equipment.
• Adhere to the Code of Conduct Standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Medical Radiographer license: KY (MRAD:KY) upon hire.
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR) upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) upon hire.
• Previous CT experience preferred.
