Overview

This is a PRN CT Technologist position located at Jay Hospital. The role involves covering 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts, and weekends. The technologist performs diagnostic procedures efficiently, demonstrating the necessary knowledge and skills to work with patients from pediatric to geriatric. Responsibilities include following physicians' instructions, preparing and operating equipment, and correctly positioning patients to record diagnostic images while treating patients with care and respect.

  • Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Active status through ARRT (Registered Technologist - Radiography or Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) required.
  • Advanced certification in CT through ARRT or NMTCB required within 12 months of hire.
  • Ability to maneuver equipment and adapt patient positioning as needed.
  • Current Indiana State Department of Health license as Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist required.
