Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT) in good standing
• CT Certification (ARRT) within one year of hire
• Current Florida state licensure
• BLS Certification through AHA or Red Cross
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures using ionizing radiation according to protocol.
• Position patients and operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Administer contrast materials and monitor patient safety.
• Ensure image quality and document in patient charts.
• Inspect equipment and maintain ALARA standards.
• Coordinate scheduling and respond to patient information inquiries.
• Provide imaging studies to referring clinicians.
• Adhere to all state and national standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
