UF Health Central Florida is seeking a CT Technologist to join the radiology team. This role involves working under the direction of the Department Manager and radiologists to provide high-quality patient care while maintaining strict radiation safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have post-secondary radiology training, ARRT certification (CT preferred), and Florida licensure, with proficiency in English. BLS is required and cross-training in CT is valued.

Competenze

• Post High School Special Training completed.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology.
• State of FL Certified Radiologic Technologist General Radiographer qualifications license required (Computer Tomography qualifications preferred).
• ARRT(R) required.
• ARRT(CT) preferred.
• BLS required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Under the direction of the Department Manager and in association with the radiologists, the technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. The CT Technologist performs services in accordance to an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self and other members of the health care team.

Qualifications

• Education:
• Post High School Special Training
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
• Cross-trained in Cat Scan Licensure/Certification/Registration:
• State of FL Certified Radiologic Technologist General Radiographer qualifications license required (Computer Tomography qualifications preferred)
• ARRT(R) required
• ARRT(CT) preferred
• BLS required Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
