Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking a CT Technologist PRN to perform radiologic procedures across neonatal to geriatric patients. The role includes maintaining licensure, continuing education, and coordinating with supervisors to ensure coverage across base and receiving departments.

The candidate will gain experience with various technologies and uphold radiation safety standards while contributing to high-quality patient care at a Level II trauma center within the HCA network.

Qualifications

• Performs radiologic procedures as designated in CT Technologist position description.
• Maintains registries and continuing education hours as applicable.
• Available to perform duties as required by area Supervisor.
• Delivers high-quality care to neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties and requirements as outlined in the Skills checklist.
• Perform all duties and requirements of receiving Job Description.
• Gain the appropriate training and experience for the specialty in which they work.
• Understand radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain appropriate license and continuing education.
• Communicate schedule with base and receiving departments.
• Work with technologies such as Meditech, PACS.

Education

Associate degree

ARRT-CT certification within 6 months

ARRT (R) certification

TMB licensure as a Certified Medical Technologist

Basic Life Support within 30 days
