This position is an on-call position only, requiring you to be available to come into the hospital within 30 minutes to perform CT Tech / X-ray duties.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a CT Technologist comfortable performing computed tomography, radiographic, and limited fluoroscopic exams with portable equipment.

• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment.
• Use proper patient positioning and technical factors to produce quality diagnostic studies.
• Operate a CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of desired patient anatomy.
• Administer contrast media as directed by the referring physician.
• Monitor patients for adverse drug reactions and report accordingly.
• Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions.
• Perform clerical duties, such as answering phones, as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and holding a current state license (as required).
• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist (excluding school).
• Current ARRT or CMRT certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.
