Job summary

The PRN CT Technologist at Health Care Administrators Association (HCAA) in St. Louis, MO performs diagnostic CT imaging for adults and children, ensuring patient comfort and safety while acquiring high-quality studies.

You will prepare patients and equipment, perform CT studies independently (including on-call and portable exams), and contribute to a flexible schedule with at least 20 hours every 6 weeks. A strong RT(R)/CT certification and 1 year CT experience are preferred.

Job description

Role Overview: The PRN CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as Computed Tomography (CT), on adult and pediatric patients to aid in diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
  • Perform studies independently, including on-call, portable exams, and other site-specific tasks.
Qualifications And Skills
  • Associate degree or higher in a related field.
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or CT.
  • Minimum of 1 year CT experience preferred.
  • Experience in radiology, medical imaging, or related areas is advantageous.
Additional Requirements
  • CT Certification and/or prior CT experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible PRN schedule, with a minimum of 20 hours every 6 weeks.
  • Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI), and certifications like Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Intravenous Therapy are preferred.
