Job summary

Indiana University Health Paoli Hospital is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to support PTO and call coverage. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic CT procedures, operate imaging equipment, and position patients from pediatric to geriatric with compassionate care.

The role requires BLS, ARRT or NMTCB radiology/nuclear medicine certifications, CT certification within 12 months of hire, and an active Indiana radiologic/nuclear medicine license. Onsite work is expected.

Qualifications

Job description

This is a PRN CT Technologist position located at Paoli Hospital. The candidate will help cover PTO and call ins.

Performs diagnostic procedures, in a timely fashion, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric. Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment and positions patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images. Treats patients with care and respect.

• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Requires active status through one of the following: American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT): Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R) or Nuclear Medicine, RT(NM); or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB): Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
• Requires advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT) through ARRT or NMTCB within 12 months of hire.
• Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
• Requires current Indiana State Department of Health license as Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
