Job summary

Baptist Health Paducah is seeking a CT Technologist for PRN/part-time coverage. Under limited supervision, you will acquire CT and radiographic images, prepare patient histories, and verify orders to ensure accurate records.

The role requires completion of an accredited Imaging Sciences program, ARRT in Radiography, and KBMIRT active at hire; CT certification must be obtained within a year. Preference for CT registry.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Imaging Sciences education program.
• Active KBMIRT required at time of hire.
• ARRT registered in Radiography.
• Registry-eligible candidates must obtain CT certification within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT and radiographic images for Radiologist review.
• Prepares accurate records and verifies orders in chart.
• Manipulates computerized image data to obtain interpretive information and for archiving.
• Administers contrast media under physician direction and in accordance with department policy.
• Order and stock supplies.
