Shift

As needed PRN overnight‑shift role during the week and weekends.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate must be able to operate all routine Computerized Tomography equipment in a safe and proficient manner. They must abide by and enforce all compliance requirements and policies and perform these responsibilities in an ethical manner consistent with the organization's values. This position requires initiative, the ability to make independent judgments, and a positive attitude. The candidate must produce high‑quality images with a minimum of repeats, manage multiple room assignments and all different types of exams (diagnostic and interventional computerized tomography) on a daily basis, and communicate with physicians, patients, families, and ancillary hospital personnel. The candidate will also participate in performance improvement initiatives and assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day‑to‑day operation of the department (i.e., clerical duties, inventory, stocking, light housekeeping duties, etc.) and may participate in the training and orientation of other employees.

Job Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA approved school
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography, ARRT (R) (CT)
• Registered by the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) in Radiography (R), Computerized Tomography (CT)
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association
