• AdventHealth Heart of Florida is a licensed 193-bed acute care hospital, coupled with outpatient services including imaging, rehab, lab, and wound care, serving the community for over 50 years.

• Located in Davenport, FL, near major attractions like Busch Gardens, Legoland, and Walt Disney World.

The role you’ll contribute:

Under general supervision, perform imaging of neuro and body scans on patients from neonate to geriatric, following age-specific guidelines, transmitting images for interpretation, and updating hospital systems. Participate in outstanding customer service and uphold the principles of Florida Hospital.

• Perform exams using AH CT protocols, properly identify patients, educate patients, and screen for contrast allergies.
• Complete exams efficiently, maintain workflow, and communicate effectively post-exam.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, perform scans on all ages, and adapt protocols as needed.
• Screen women of childbearing age, minimize radiation exposure, and follow infection control standards.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, perform QA on CT scanners, and handle pharmaceutical waste properly.
• Review images, repeat as necessary for quality, and document appropriately.
