Job description

Overview

PRN CT Technologist position located at Bedford Hospital. The candidate would fill in for PTO and call ins.

Perform diagnostic procedures in a timely fashion, demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric. Follow physician's instructions, prepare and operate equipment, and position patients correctly to record the requested diagnostic images. Treat patients with care and respect.

• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Active status through one of the following: ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography (RT(R)) or Nuclear Medicine (RT(NM)); or NMTCB Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
• Advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT) through ARRT or NMTCB within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
• Current Indiana State Department of Health license as Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
