Job summary

UofL Health is hiring a CT Technologist to perform CT scans according to established protocols within the Diagnostic Imaging Department in Louisville, KY. The role requires knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety, and patient positioning to ensure high-quality imaging.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT registry, KY Radiation Operator certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of CT experience, with strong patient communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRC-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with ARRT; KY Radiation Operators certification.
• BLS and CT Certification preferred or required within 1 year of employment.
• Prefer at least 1 year of CT Technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans according to established protocols with high accuracy.
• Ensure correct patient identification and order verification.
• Maintain radiation safety practices during examinations.
• Instruct and mentor Radiologic Technology students.
• Assist radiologist with complex CT exams.
