Northwell Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging studies, position patients, and ensure high-quality image capture with proper labeling and documentation. The role requires ARRT registration and state licensure, with a minimum of one year of experience.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating x-ray equipment, monitoring patient condition, and maintaining accurate logs and film labeling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• New York State and/or Connecticut Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
• Minimum of one year experience performing radiologic exams.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for exams and translate procedures into lay terms as needed.
• Perform radiologic exams according to standards and SOPs; position patients and adjust immobilization devices.
• Operate x-ray equipment and controls to obtain correct exposure; monitor patient condition during procedures.
• Process and label exposed images; ensure correct identification and side labeling; document exams in daily logs.
